According to Footy Headlines, Rangers and Adidas have been in discussions regarding Adidas becoming their next kit provider.

On Monday, October 14, the publication posted on its website that the Gers’ present agreement with Castore is scheduled to expire at the conclusion of the 2024–2025 season, and it is unclear who will be producing their uniforms for the upcoming campaign.

Even if it is believed that Adidas and the Light Blues have had talks, it is currently more likely that Philippe Clement’s team will stay with Castore for the 2025–2026 season at Ibrox.

At Ibrox, who makes the Rangers’ uniforms?

Castore isn’t the most well-known football kit manufacturer right now, since both players and fans frequently criticise the company’s shirts, especially the Aston Villa players from the previous campaign.

Despite the fact that all three of the Rangers’ uniforms this season are excellent, it seems like they frequently play it extremely safe rather than going for bold and unusual designs.

Naturally, the Light Blues would have a significant brand appeal if they partnered with Adidas. The biggest teams in football often get their uniforms from Nike or Adidas, thus the Gers would profit monetarily from such a deal.

That kind of agreement might seem improbable at this point, but in football, a year is a long time, and a lot can happen. But if the Gers want to catch up to Celtic, they need to make excellent off-field choices like these.

It is currently unclear when and how these decisions will be made in the upcoming months due to the lack of behind-the-scenes structure at Ibrox and the large number of open positions following the departures of James Bisgrove and John Bennett.

I hope the Rangers can figure out a way to get their act together as soon as possible.
