Despite Brentford’s three Premier League away losses thus far, manager Thomas Frank is certain that the team will turn things around following some strong displays.

According to Thomas Frank, Brentford hasn’t earned the points they’ve earned this season from their away efforts.

The Bees have accumulated 13 points from five games at the Gtech Stadium, but they have lost all three of their away games—against Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool. Now that Frank’s team is playing Fulham in a West London derby, the manager believes it’s time to bring something home.

“The home form has given a good base, but the results away from home haven’t exactly been top-notch,” Frank stated.

“The outcome is always important, of course, but we must also consider that we have visited Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United, and we have performed admirably against three of the Premier League’s top teams.

Actually, I felt that we performed better at the Etihad this season than we did when we defeated City there two years prior.

We also need to provide some background on the Old Trafford loss. I believe it’s amazing that a team like Brentford would travel to Old Trafford and perform as well as we did in the first half. We must now perform well for two halves, not just forty-five minutes, when we are away from home.

“When we first entered the Premier League, people didn’t think we would survive, but we are increasingly regarded as an established club at this level,” Frank continued.

You stay at this level and keep pushing to get even better by living up to that culture, which keeps us on our toes all the time and wants us to develop, add layers, and improve.

“Complacency poses the greatest risk. It hurts my players, it hurts me in my profession, it hurts anyone in any job.

“You must constantly challenge yourself. It involves continuously telling yourself that “we still have to meet the next challenge, so we need to keep working hard.”

“We never do things exactly the same way in order to get that. In each of the Premier League’s four seasons, we have consistently attempted to improve our game; if you don’t, you will lose.
