Colleagues were stunned by the incident.

Julien Vetro, a winger for Dundee, collapsed in the dressing room before the team’s 3-2 victory over Kilmarnock and was rushed to the hospital.

After the 20-year-old Frenchman lost consciousness in front of his stunned teammates and needed medical attention, the start at Dens Park was postponed by fifteen minutes. Vetro was originally named as one of the match’s replacements after joining on loan from Burnley in the summer. He returned in time to celebrate his team’s victory after visiting the hospital for an evaluation.

Tony Docherty, the manager of Dundee, said that the events had shocked his team. “It was really eerie,” he remarked. “The guys deserve praise for how they handled the situation. While we were all waiting for me to speak to the team, Julien had an incident in the changing room.

I believe he just fainted. As a precaution, he was brought to the hospital. Now, Julien is rejoicing in the dressing room. He is alright.

In order to participate against Kilmarnock, Docherty also disclosed that Mo Sylla, a midfielder for Dundee, had hurried back to Scotland from Paris on Saturday after the birth of his son Kasim. Ziyad Larkeche’s goal in stoppage time gave the Dark Blues a thrilling victory, and the Frenchman played the full ninety minutes as they rallied from a two-goal deficit.

Docherty remarked, “We dedicated that victory to Mo Sylla’s baby boy, who was born yesterday.” “He made sure he was on a flight back last night after spending yesterday in Paris. I let him have a chance. The birth of a kid is a huge event. However, he ensured that he returned and was prepared for the match. That demonstrates our true team mentality. And, to be honest, Mo’s mindset. Wonderful. I am proud, and that’s a powerful word.

The outcome naturally irritated Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes, but his primary worry was for defender Stuart Findlay, who was taken to the hospital on a stretcher during the first half.

“Stu Findlay’s departure was a huge blow for us,” the manager remarked. We haven’t lost many goals in the last several weeks with Stu on the team, so he has been crucial. It doesn’t look good for him, but we’re hopeful he hasn’t broken his ankle or suffered a dislocation. It’s a serious blow. We will find out because he is currently at the hospital.
