According to CeltsAreHere, Daniel Cummings, a prolific young Celtic striker, will train with the team’s first team the next week.

It comes following the teenager’s free-scoring start to the season, during which he has tallied 20 goals over 18 games in all competitions for the Hoops’ B squad.

When Cummings returns to Celtic, he will be practicing with the first team at Lennoxtown later next week. At the moment, he is overseas on international duty with Scotland’s under-19 team.

The Bhoys are getting ready for what the manager has called a “ultramarathon” of games between now and March of next year, and Cummings might be the next young player to earn his senior debut under Rodgers.

They begin next Saturday when they visit Tynecastle to play Hearts, a venue where the Scottish Premiership winners had trouble during their previous visit.

The Bhoys may have lost that game because to some dubious officiating calls, and Celtic will try to reverse the 2-0 score in the Jambos’ favour the following weekend.

Kickoff is scheduled for the odd hour of 7:45 p.m. For the eagerly awaited match, young Cummings will want to be in and around the squad.
