Ahead of Saturday’s Premier League match at King Power Stadium, Chelsea is concerned about a number of injuries.

 

Prior to his return to his old team, Leicester City, this weekend, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca must endure a nervous wait over a few of his most important players.

The Italian moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer after earning a return to the Premier League with Leicester the previous season. He will be returning to King Power Stadium for the first time since his departure on Saturday at 12.30 p.m.

Chelsea enters the match fresh off consecutive 1-1 draws with Arsenal and Manchester United. However, those games have raised some concerns about injuries before the Premier League returns.

Cole Palmer, a key player, sustained a knee injury during the tie with United. He was a doubt for the match against Leicester even though he played the entire ninety minutes against Arsenal. He was left out of the England squad for the current international break.

Due to injury concerns, three further players also opted out of international duty. Because of an unspecified injury, defender Levi Colwill left the England team, while Malo Gusto also left the France squad.

The fourth player to miss time with his national team because of an injury worry was Wesley Fofana. The defender left the France squad to be evaluated by Chelsea after experiencing knee pain after the draw with Arsenal.

Romeo Lavia, a midfielder for Belgium, joined the team during the international break even though he was substituted in the second half against Arsenal. Domenico Tedesco, the manager of Belgium, reported that he had a hamstring issue, and he missed both of the team’s 1-0 losses to Italy and Israel.

Summertime signing Due to illness and injuries, Jadon Sancho has missed the last two Premier League games. He is consequently somewhat doubtful for the match against Leicester as a result.

Omari Kellyman, a fellow summer acquisition, is one player who will undoubtedly be missed. Due to a hamstring injury, the former Aston Villa player is anticipated to be sidelined until at least late November.
