The Celtic 2024 AGM is well underway, giving supporters and shareholders their yearly chance to hear the board’s vision and ask any questions they may have about club-related matters.

Resolutions 1–8 have already been passed, and the reappointments of Dermot Desmond, Michael Nicholson, Brian Wilson, and Tom Allison all went off without a hitch. The Celtic 2024 AGM got underway on schedule.

After taking the stage to introduce the event, Peter Lawwell promised the Celtic supporters that the board will bring “more success” to the team both at home and abroad.

According to Peter Lawwell, “expansion” at Celtic might help “make more money” at the Bhoys’ AGM.

For almost twenty years, Celtic has had almost complete control over Scottish football. Lawwell assures the shareholders in attendance that they can “rest assured” that the board will consider “opportunities” to uphold that and enhance the club’s reputation in Europe.

“The challenge is to improve in Europe and continue to maintain our domestic dominance,” Lawwell said to the gathered audience.

All of the potential revolve around rivalry in Europe. We must ensure that everything proceeds as planned, possibly expanding and possibly increasing revenue.

“I want to thank everyone who has helped me throughout the years. It has been essential to our club’s success, and you can be confident that the board will do everything in their power to achieve even greater success. [via the Daily Record]
