Francesco Pio Esposito, a striker, thinks it would be “a dream” to rejoin Inter Milan and play for the first squad.
Speaking to FCInterNews at the Gran Gala del Calcio, Pio Esposito discussed his goals with the Nerazzurri, his father club.
This season, Esposito has been on loan at Spezia. He has been on loan with the Ligurians for the second consecutive term.
The Inter attacker had his first senior football experience with the Serie B team the last time around.
Esposito established his footing at a level above youth team football and assimilated into the team, thus it was a pretty good season of improvement, although he wasn’t particularly productive.
It has been different this season. Esposito has really taken off at Spezia and has started to score goals on a regular basis.
As his side strives for promotion to Serie A, the 19-year-old has been an important member.
Instead of loaning the teenage striker to a Serie A team this season, Inter and Esposito chose to send him back to a familiar setting in the second level.
And it looks like this concept is really paying off.
Francesco Pio Esposito: “It’s a dream to return to Inter Milan.”
Pio Esposito will undoubtedly star in Serie A at some point, it appears.
It might not be at Inter immediately. For the upcoming season, a loan to a smaller team in the top flight might be on the cards.
In the meantime, Pio Esposito is apparently wanted by Napoli.
However, the teenage striker eventually hopes to make the Inter first squad.
“It’s definitely a dream,” Pio Esposito says of his prospects at Inter.
“After representing this shirt all over the world for ten years in the youth academy.”
Pio Esposito went on, “We all know how high a level Inter is.” “I must therefore proceed calmly and one step at a time.”
Pio Esposito acknowledged that “I’ve read them” regarding transfer ties to major teams.
The teenage striker went on to say, “My friends occasionally send me articles.”
“But since we’re having a difficult season at Spezia, it would be foolish to concentrate on anything else.”
“I can’t get distracted right now. Spezia should go to Serie A, in my opinion.
