Rangers forward Oscar Cortes is unlikely to play a full 90 minutes in any match before the end of the year, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar.

The injury specialist explained that Cortes is stuck in a challenging cycle of recurring fitness issues, which has been difficult to overcome. Some of this, Brar noted, is due to bad luck, as his most recent injury resulted from a training knock.

On November 27, Philippe Clement confirmed that while the Colombian international has returned to the initial stages of training, he remains sidelined for a few more weeks.

Speaking to Ibrox News, Brar, a physical therapist and sports scientist, highlighted Cortes’ struggles and expressed hope that he could begin the new year strongly and establish himself as a regular first-team player, whether under Clement or another manager.
