Over the past year, Max and Igor Cavalera have been revisiting and re-recording early Sepultura albums like Morbid Visions, Bestial Devastation, and Schizophrenia to better align them with their original vision. While this project is undoubtedly self-indulgent, it hasn’t gone unnoticed by members of the current Sepultura lineup, with at least one expressing clear disapproval.
In a recent interview with IMPACT Metal Channel, Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser shared his thoughts on the Cavaleras’ endeavor, and let’s just say he didn’t hold back.
Kisser also remarked that it seemed peculiar for Max Cavalera to revisit such old material at all.
