Rangers secured their third consecutive victory, building the kind of momentum that fosters confidence and belief within the squad.

While the manager welcomed a few players back into the fold, the Scottish Premiership clash against Kilmarnock at Ibrox came too soon for Oscar Cortes and Rabbi Matondo.

Below are the player ratings from what was arguably Rangers’ best domestic performance of the season.

Rangers Player Ratings vs. Kilmarnock

Jack Butland – 7
As Kevin Thomson noted during commentary, “he looks a bit bored.” Butland handled set pieces, through balls, and pass-backs on a challenging pitch with ease.

James Tavernier – 8
Solid at the back, he showcased his trademark attacking quality with a classic Tavernier goal and a perfectly placed assist for Cyriel Dessers’ sixth goal. It’s a promising step forward.

Jefte – 8
Gaining confidence as Rangers’ first-choice left-back, he’s making it tough for Ridvan Yilmaz to reclaim his spot. Capped off his performance with a fine assist.

Leon Balogun – 8
Dependable, composed, and effective. Balogun managed Kilmarnock’s physical attack expertly. A no-nonsense display that highlighted his defensive prowess.

John Souttar – 8
Comfortable alongside Balogun, Souttar brought composure to what has often been a challenging fixture in the past.

Nicolas Raskin – 9
The Belgian dynamo was a standout, delivering an immense performance that gave the creative players the freedom to shine. Despite the attacking flair on display, Raskin deservedly clinched both the sponsor’s and RTV’s Man of the Match awards.

Mohamed Diomande – 8
In his best domestic outing yet, Diomande thrived in a box-to-box role, demonstrating his suitability for possession-dominant games.

Ianis Hagi – 9
Hagi continues to justify his status as the signing of the summer. With two assists and a masterclass performance in attacking midfield and wide roles, he offered Rangers a long-sought solution in creative areas.

Danilo – 8
Persisted against top-notch goalkeeping to eventually find the net. His intelligent link-up play highlighted qualities beyond Dessers’ reach.

Hamza Igamane – 8
Though occasionally indecisive, Igamane’s stunning goal and relentless threat underscored his potential to thrive at Rangers.

Vaclav Cerny – 9
The Czech winger once again delivered, contributing goals and assists with consistency. Rangers would be wise to consider a permanent move for this dependable performer.

Substitutes

Cyriel Dessers – 8
Made an impact with two goals, proving to be a capable deputy rather than the main striker.

Kieran Dowell – 7
Showed composure in a stress-free cameo, maintaining possession effectively.

Nedim Bajrami – 7
Looked livelier in a more central role than in recent matches.

Ridvan Yilmaz – 7
Determined to reclaim his place, Yilmaz demonstrated energy and intent.

Connor Barron – 7
Reliable and consistent, Barron rarely falters and remains a trusted squad option.
