According to one commentator, Glasgow Rangers are “ready to swoop” and bring a player who makes £15,000 a week to Ibrox in January.

Rangers transfer whispers as pressure builds on Clement With his team being third in the Scottish Premiership and far behind rivals Celtic, manager Philippe Clement seems to be under a lot of pressure to turn things around with the Gers.

The 50-year-old was even connected to the Belgium position in recent weeks, but after two away victories against St Johnstone in the Scottish top flight and Nice in the Europa League, it seems that he is focused on improving things at Ibrox.

Rangers and Clement can reorganise their team during the January transfer window if they so choose, and Brighton striker Evan Ferguson seems to be on the team’s radar in anticipation of a possible loan deal.

Joe Gelhardt, a forward for Leeds United, is another player who may go on loan to Scotland. Rangers, who were interested in the summer, are now interested in the £15,000-per-week attacker again in anticipation of 2025. The attacker has struggled to find playing time at Elland Road.

Rangers claim Joe Gelhardt’s move, according to a pundit.

Pundit and former scout Mick Brown discussed Rangers and a January deal for Gelhardt with Football Insider. Leeds has not yet decided whether to approve a loan or permanent departure. He has been “told” that Gelhardt is interested in leaving Leeds, and he added that Rangers “will be ready to swoop.” The 22-year-old may find playing in Europe interesting.

Rangers now need to consider a variety of players. Prior to now, you wouldn’t have imagined that they would be after a player who is unable to join Leeds, but that is currently their situation.

He hasn’t been playing for Leeds on a regular basis, and he seems keen in moving, based on what I’ve been informed. From Rangers’ perspective, they must be considering that kind of player. Leeds will be prepared to strike if they allow him to leave in January, even if it’s just on loan.

“They will support themselves to win that race, but they are not the only club interested. They also compete in European leagues, such as the Conference League, Europa League, and Champions League, which constantly attracts talent.
