Lincoln City manager Michael Skubala has revealed that Sheffield Wednesday are satisfied with Bailey Cadamarteri’s progress during his loan spell with the League One side.
The 19-year-old forward joined Lincoln City on a season-long loan in the summer and has since made 16 appearances in League One.
Cadamarteri has scored three league goals so far, contributing to Lincoln’s strong play-off push as the campaign reaches its midpoint.
Additionally, he netted his sixth goal across all competitions earlier this week, scoring the decisive goal in Lincoln’s 1-0 win against Morecambe in the EFL Trophy’s second round.
Skubala has commended Cadamarteri’s development since arriving at the club earlier this season.
He mentioned that discussions have taken place with Sheffield Wednesday regarding the player’s progress, with his parent club expressing satisfaction with his performance levels.
“Like all players competing for minutes, he’ll want more, but he’s making good progress, and we’re seeing constant improvements in his game,” Skubala told the BBC.
