Aston Villa has extended goalkeeper Filip Marschall’s contract after reaching an agreement, according to Football Insider. The deal secures the highly-rated 21-year-old, whose previous contract ran until June 2027.
Currently on loan at Crewe Alexandra in League Two, Marschall has impressed this season with nine clean sheets in 25 appearances. The former England U19 international debuted for Villa last season in a 1-1 Conference League draw but remains behind Emiliano Martinez, Robin Olsen, and Joe Gauci in the pecking order.
