Following Rangers’ crushing victory over Celtic at Ibrox on Thursday afternoon, Todd Cantwell responded right away on social media.

Philippe Clement’s first Old Firm victory came on January 2nd, when goals from Ianis Hagi, Robin Propper, and Danilo were sufficient to secure a 3-0 victory.

Cantwell, who missed Blackburn’s draw against Leeds United on New Year’s Day, was obviously pleased with Rangers’ dominance throughout Glasgow.

The former Ibrox playmaker posted a picture of Danilo from Sky Sports with a blue heart underneath it on his personal Instagram story.

Reactions from Todd Cantwell following Rangers’ victory over Celtic
The afternoon was fantastic for all those involved with the club at Ibrox.

The majority of former Rangers players have taken to social media to congratulate the remaining members of the current team as they celebrate the victory.

Cantwell was always a peculiar player at Ibrox; he was expelled by Philippe Clement after he asked to leave twice before joining Blackburn, but it appears that he still keeps them close.

Hagi was at the centre of almost everything today, but Hamza Igamane and Vaclav Cerny have received a lot of credit for turning things around in the latter third.

With his goal against Celtic being exactly what he deserved, the Romanian international has already outperformed Cantwell at Ibrox since rejoining the team.

Since the prior attempts at success against Motherwell and St. Mirren were insufficient, Clement needs to ensure that this continues right away.
