Adamo Nagalo was seen wearing a Rangers jersey in photos shared on his Instagram account.
The Burkina Faso defender, who joined PSV, Nils Koppen’s former club, during the summer transfer window, donned a Gers shirt belonging to Mohamed Diomande, featuring the number 42 and Diomande’s name on the back.
As reported by The Scottish Sun on January 4, Nagalo is considered a “highly-rated” talent, with Rangers reportedly seeking defensive reinforcements this January.
Nagalo, 22, fits the profile of the type of player Rangers are targeting. His connection to Diomande, who hails from Ivory Coast like Nagalo, may further strengthen ties with the Ibrox outfit.
With Rangers trailing Celtic by 11 points in the league, manager Nils Koppen must focus on bolstering the squad. Adding at least two or three quality signings during the January window is crucial to enhancing the team’s competitiveness and closing the gap at the top of the
table.
