Woyo Coulibaly’s arrival from Parma has sparked Leicester City’s winter transfer window.

Coulibaly signed a contract with Leicester that will last until 2029 after completing a £3 million transfer on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old, who might make his debut on Saturday afternoon when Leicester hosts Fulham at the King Power Stadium, will provide James Justin competition.

Although the club will probably need to raise money through player sales, Ruud van Nistelrooy will be hoping to add additional players to his team in the last few weeks of the window.

Tom Cannon leaving for Sunderland may generate almost £10 million, and a loan player leaving might also make room for new players.

Having said that, it was recently revealed that an MLS team had made an unexpected attempt to sign a Leicester outcast.

Atlanta United make unexpected approach to sign Leicester outcast Odsonne Eduoard

MLS team Atlanta United has made a £15 million bid to sign Odsonne Eduoard, who is now on loan from Leicester City, according to transfer expert Alan Nixon.

Eduoard was signed by Steve Cooper from Crystal Palace in the summer on a season-long loan, but he hasn’t made the expected effect.

It is believed that Leicester would be pleased for the French striker to leave for America, given he hasn’t played since van Nistelrooy arrived at the end of November.

Given that Mathys Tel has been linked to the East Midlands on a temporary basis, City would then be able to recruit a player on loan this month.

Wout Faes might depart Leicester as well.
It’s also possible that Wout Faes is leaving.

It’s recently surfaced that Lazio have lodged a proposal to sign Faes, who has been on the outskirts since van Nistelrooy signed.

Despite this, the Belgian centre-back did start last night against Palace and seems to have re-established himself in the Dutchman’s thoughts.

It appears that Leicester has a telling couple of weeks ahead of it.
