
On Wednesday, emergency personnel were called to the Southside Stadium after receiving reports of a lady being ill. The 39-year-old was transported to the hospital, where she tragically died.
After ‘becoming unwell’ during Wednesday’s Rangers vs. Aberdeen match at Ibrox, a woman died.
On January 15, emergency personnel were called to the stadium in Glasgow’s southside after receiving reports of a woman becoming ill. After being brought to the hospital, the 39-year-old tragically died.
Although her death is currently being investigated as unexplained, no suspicious circumstances are thought to have been involved. A report will be forwarded to the Fiscal Procurator.
A representative for Police Scotland stated: “We were notified on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, that a woman had been ill during a game at Ibrox Stadium.
The 39-year-old woman passed away after being transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by emergency personnel.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
