This January transfer window, Leicester City desperately needs reinforcements.

The Foxes have dropped seven straight Premier League games and are currently in 19th place, two points from safety.

The Leicester supporters, who were quite critical of Ruud van Nistelrooy’s choice to replace Bilal El Khanouss over the weekend, are now under a lot of pressure.

Chants of “you don’t know what you’re doing” accompanied the booing that surrounded the King Power as the Morrocan went off.

However, Leicester will now lose out on one of their centre-back targets as he agrees to join Manchester City. It is obvious that the Dutchman needs immediate assistance this month if he is to guide the ship away from relegation.

Man City strikes a deal to sign Juma Bah, a target for Leicester

Following his stellar debut season in La Liga, it was revealed last month that Leicester was monitoring the “quality” centre-back Juma Bah of Real Valladolid.

City was eager to add the 18-year-old wonderkid to van Nistelrooy’s team since he is regarded as one of Spain’s most promising defenders.

However, trade expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Manchester City is close to signing Bah and may send him to RC Lens on loan right away.

The Foxes will now need to find another target since the Premier League champions’ allure proved to be too strong.

Thomas Kristensen could be Leicester’s next option.

Tottenham Hotspur is showing interest in Thomas Kristensen, who Leicester has also been watching.

The Foxes were reportedly in the lead to sign the Udinese defender earlier this month, but those whispers have since died down.

Leicester may make another attempt to acquire the Denmark international, who is valued at about £13 million, now that the Bah deal is off the table.

In the East Midlands, the next several weeks will be revealing.
