Norwich City are close to signing Dundee United prospect Alan Domeracki, according to a report from The Pink Un.

Norwich City are prepared to pull the midfielder down the border from Scotland to England. He is anticipated to initially sign up with NCFC’s Under-21’s side.

The 18-year-old Domeracki is predicted to have a successful future in the game. He has made two appearances for Dundee United in the Scottish Challenge Cup so far this season.

According to The Pink Un, he is expected to sign with the Canaries before the conclusion of the January window, which is the most recent update on his condition this winter. Prior to his planned transfer to Carrow Road, he reportedly finished his medical.

Last time out, Norwich City defeated Swansea City 5-1 at home in a thrilling victory. They are five points out of the playoffs and currently sit in eleventh place in the standings.

Alan Domeracki will be signed by Norwich City.

To date, Domeracki has spent his entire career with Dundee United.

He has been a regular for them at several different youth levels and has advanced through their academy ranks.

Losing him will be devastating for the Scottish Premiership team, particularly in the middle of a season.

In 2023, he posted on their website that he was “proud to extend my contract at Dundee United Football Club.” So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and am eager to continue growing. To take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead, it is crucial to collaborate closely with the coaching and support staff at our St Andrews training base.

“He is a creative left-sided midfielder who has all the qualities to progress further in the game having been in the Academy for more than seven years,” said Paul Cowie, their Academy Director.

“Alan has the drive and conviction to work hard and take advantage of every opportunity he has, both on and off the pitch, to further his development, but patience has been the key in his recent development.”

Domeracki may be viewed by Norwich City as someone who could eventually make his way into their starting lineup.

What will happen to Norwich City next?

The Canaries have until the deadline on Monday 3rd February to get any final bits of business done.

They are back in league action this weekend with an away trip to Vicarage Road to take on Watford.

Johannes Hoff Thorup’s side should be in confident mood after they hammered Swansea City as they look to close the gap on the top six.
