Zeidane Inoussa, a forward for BK Häcken, told the Swedish press that Celtic is interested in signing him.
In an attempt to strengthen his team before the deadline next week, Brendan Rodgers has linked the 22-year-old to a move to Celtic during this transfer window.
Inoussa was questioned by Fotbollskanalen on Celtic and AS Saint-Etienne’s interest in signing him this transfer window.
The young forward claimed that the fact that these clubs are interested in signing him proves he has been doing the right things. Inoussa also disclosed that inquiries have been made about him by Celtic and Saint-Etienne.
Earlier this month that Celtic were in the running to sign the BK Häcken player and that an offer had come in from the Scottish champions. Again, Saint-Etienne were also linked with the young forward in those reports.
There’s also been claims Italian clubs are monitoring the situation with Inoussa, but a move in this window is looking unlikely.
Inoussa made 18 starts in the recently concluded Allsvenskan season, scoring six goals. He’s contracted to BK Häcken until December 2027.
