Manchester United players celebrated their 3-0 victory over Leicester City by posing for photos inside the away dressing room at King Power Stadium, with Alejandro Garnacho among those sharing images.
Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee posted photos from inside the dressing room after the win. Garnacho, who ended a nearly four-month goal drought, scored ten minutes after having an earlier effort ruled out for offside. Rasmus Hojlund had already broken his own scoring dry spell in the first half, and the two later took a selfie together.
Garnacho captioned his social media post with the words, “God’s timing is always perfect!” Hojlund liked the post and added their selfie to his Instagram story on Sunday night.
Garnacho also shared another photo featuring Bruno Fernandes—who held his Player of the Match award—alongside Zirkzee and Manuel Ugarte. He tagged all three and wrote “Great assist!” under Fernandes’ username, acknowledging the captain’s role in his goal.
Fernandes played a crucial role in all three goals, assisting Hojlund’s opener with a lofted pass before setting up Garnacho’s strike. He then scored the third himself, firing in from the edge of the box after receiving a pass from Diogo Dalot.
Recognized as Player of the Match, Fernandes proudly displayed his award while taking another selfie with Zirkzee, who captioned it with three red heart emojis and tagged the United skipper.
Fernandes later shared those images on his story and also congratulated Harry Amass on making his United debut. In a separate post, he uploaded several photos celebrating his goal, captioning them: “Great way to end the week. Unmatched support from all of you that
travelled.”
