The Rangers’ wild celebrations following their dramatic victory over Celtic have sparked intense debate, with fresh footage shedding light on Nedim Bajrami’s involvement in the aftermath.

Hamza Igamane’s last-minute winner sent interim boss Barry Ferguson into ecstatic touchline celebrations, while Sky Sports cameras captured Vaclav Cerny spraying water toward the home supporters.

As tensions flared, security and police intervened to restore order. However, new fan footage has emerged, revealing Albanian international Bajrami also joining in the post-match antics.

Despite not featuring in the game, Bajrami followed his jubilant Rangers teammates towards the away section, enduring jeers from the Celtic fans. One irate supporter stood up, prompting the midfielder to squirt his water bottle in the direction of the Hoops fan—mirroring Cerny’s actions in the chaotic scenes.

After the match, Ferguson admitted he was unaware of the incident, stating: “No, I was focused on ensuring we had the right formation to see out the game. I’m just glad I wasn’t involved. My attention was on my team, making sure we were organized and secured the three points.”

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers also commented on the incident but downplayed it, saying: “I didn’t see it. I went to the screen to check the goal.”

With tempers cooling, Ferguson’s Rangers are gaining momentum in the Premiership run-in. However, a title challenge remains unlikely, with Celtic holding a commanding 13-point lead at the top. Nonetheless, securing derby bragging rights followed by a Europa League quarter-final triumph over Fenerbahce has bolstered the Light Blues’ confidence.
