Robbie Savage Blasts Chris Sutton’s “Pathetic” Comments After Rangers’ Victory Over Celtic
Rangers Secure Impressive Win at Celtic Park
Although Rangers’ chances of clinching the Scottish Premiership title remain slim, they earned bragging rights on Sunday with a thrilling 3-2 win over Celtic.
Hamza Igamane’s late strike sealed the victory for Barry Ferguson’s side, stunning the home crowd after Rangers had initially led 2-0 before being pegged back. Despite the impressive result, Ferguson’s team still trails Celtic by 13 points in the league.
Following the match, former Celtic striker Chris Sutton took to social media to share his thoughts, saying:
“Superb advert for the Scottish game. Igamane took his goal superbly and deserved of winning any game. Bottom line is the gap at the top is 13 points with 8 games left. I know who I’d rather be. Fair play to Rangers who play well when the pressure and expectation isn’t on them…”
Savage Dismisses Sutton’s Comments as “Pathetic”
