Rangers’ interim manager Barry Ferguson was recently spotted enjoying a curry at Mister Singh’s, a popular west end restaurant known for attracting celebrity guests.
The Ibrox legend visited the Elderslie Street eatery this week for a dinner hosted by events company 5 Stars. Ferguson, 47, stepped into the managerial role in February after Philippe Clement was dismissed following a poor run of results, including a shock Scottish Cup exit to Queens Park.
Since taking charge, Ferguson has overseen a resurgence at Rangers, guiding them to the last 16 of the Europa League after a two-legged triumph over Turkish giants Fenerbahce and securing a 3-2 victory against arch-rivals Celtic.
During his playing career, Ferguson made over 250 appearances for Rangers across two spells, scoring more than 40 goals.
An Instagram post from 5 Stars praised Ferguson for attending the event, stating: “A big thank you to Barry Ferguson who had dinner with our corporate sponsors last night. Thanks to Mr Singh’s for the hospitality… A great evening had by all.”
Ferguson is not the only Rangers figure to have dined at Mister Singh’s, with Ally McCoist also enjoying a “special evening” at the restaurant in March last year. Mister Singh’s has long been a favorite among celebrities, with notable visitors including Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom and Braveheart actor Mel Gibson.
