Hearts Fans Snapping Up Hampden Tickets for Scottish Cup Semi-Final

Hearts supporters are securing their spots at Hampden Park in huge numbers, with over 16,000 tickets already sold for next monthā€™s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen. The highly anticipated clash, set for Saturday, April 19, marks Heartsā€™ 10th appearance in a national cup semi-final since 2012.

A victory over Aberdeen would see Hearts face either St Johnstone or Celtic in the final on Saturday, May 24. This will be the first time the two sides have met at the national stadium in a Scottish Cup semi-final since 1996, and fans are turning out in force to back their team in pursuit of a place in the showpiece event.

The Edinburgh club initially received an allocation of 19,000 tickets, and with demand surging, they are expected to sell out. Should they reach that threshold, a limited number of additional seats may be made available upon request. Ticket sales began on Tuesday morning, initially restricted to season ticket holders and fans with 60 loyalty points or more, with a four-ticket limit per account. A general sale will commence at 10am this Friday, maintaining the same purchase limit.

Seats in the South and North Stands are priced at Ā£40 for adults and Ā£20 for concessions (over-65s and under-16s), while West Stand tickets cost Ā£30 for adults and Ā£15 for concessions. Wheelchair users will pay Ā£22 (Ā£12 concessions) in the North Stand, Ā£17 (Ā£10 concessions) in the South Stand, and Ā£12 (Ā£10 concessions) in the West Stand.

Hearts plan to sell tickets in the South Stand Lower, North Stand, and West Stand (B1-B8) first before releasing seats in West Stand A if necessary. If demand continues, the South Stand Upper will also be opened. In line with Hampden Park’s policies, all tickets will be digital and distributed via the stadiumā€™s official app, with no paper tickets available.

Hampden Ticket Guidelines for Hearts Fans

Hearts have outlined the ticketing process on their website, emphasizing that tickets will be sent to the account holderā€™s registered email. Those purchasing on behalf of others must use the recipientā€™s reference number, linking the tickets to the email associated with that account. Fans are encouraged to verify their registered email via eTickets before purchasing.

Wheelchair-accessible tickets cannot be bought online. Instead, Disability Access Officer Keith Ferguson will provide further instructions via email on Monday evening. Requests submitted before this time will not be considered.

As in previous Hampden fixtures, easy-access seating will be available in the front sections of P1-P4, with tickets offered at a reduced rate and including a complimentary Personal Assistant pass. Disabled supporters may also opt to sit in standard seating areas, where tickets will be charged at the standard age-appropriate rate and include a Personal Assistant pass, but access will be via turnstiles only.
