Florida State Extends Offer to Transfer Wide Receiver TreyShun Hurry
Florida State has officially extended a scholarship offer to San Jose State transfer wide receiver TreyShun Hurry, the player announced Saturday on X.
The offer comes as the Seminoles navigate a reshuffling of their receiver corps, with three wideouts — Jordan Scott, Hykeem Williams, and Jalen Brown — entering the NCAA Transfer Portal within the past week.
Hurry, a 6-foot-2, 194-pound redshirt sophomore, caught 28 passes for 482 yards and two touchdowns during the 2024 season with San Jose State. He capped off his campaign with four receptions for 62 yards in the Hawai’i Bowl against South Florida on December 24. In the regular season finale on November 29, he posted four catches for 61 yards, including a game-winning touchdown against Stanford.
Before transferring to San Jose State, Hurry played two seasons at Weber State, tallying 29 catches for 384 yards and a touchdown in 2023. As a freshman in 2022, he had limited action, recording two catches for 26 yards in three games.
In addition to Florida State, Hurry holds offers from Baylor, BYU, Louisville, Miami, USF, and West Virginia. He hails from Palmdale, California.
