John Higgins brings some extra joy to Celtic fans during sunny spell
Former World Snooker Champion John Higgins has been adding to the good mood among Celtic supporters this week while competing at the Crucible World Championships.
Higgins celebrated Celtic’s title win with a cheeky jab at Rangers, leaving fellow World Champion John Parrott in stitches by joking that the Hoops now boast 54 more league titles than their Ibrox rivals.

He also took the opportunity to tease Ally McCoist, playfully questioning the former Rangers striker about how it feels to see Celtic’s continued success.

John Higgins winds up Ally McCoist over Celtic’s dominance
Following his first-round victory at the Crucible, Higgins spoke with McCoist about his snooker performances — and couldn’t resist slipping in a playful question about Celtic.
During the TNT Sports Snooker coverage, Higgins cheekily asked,

“Are you happy that Celtic are dominating just now, Ally? Can I just ask you that?”

McCoist responded with a laugh,

“Quite frankly it makes me ill, John, for want of a better description,” before joking, “I don’t mind a bit of payback boys.”

McCoist hides the sting of Celtic’s success behind his smile
While McCoist took the banter in good spirits, it’s clear that Celtic’s dominance is a tough pill to swallow for the Rangers legend.
With the possibility of another domestic treble just weeks away, Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side are poised to smash even more records.

Securing a historic ninth domestic treble would cement Rodgers’ place in Celtic folklore as the only manager in the club’s history to win three trebles.
Should that happen, the current pain McCoist jokes about will only deepen, as Glasgow once again prepares to turn green and white.
