Celtic icon Henrik Larsson made a surprise visit to Glasgow this week, teaming up with three current squad members for a secretive filming project at one of the city’s most beloved Celtic-themed pubs.

The legendary “King of Kings” was spotted at McChuills on High Street on Wednesday, May 7, accompanied by Adam Idah, Kasper Schmeichel, and Luke McCowan. The group was seen filming inside the popular matchday hotspot located on the edge of the Merchant City.

Though details of the project are still under wraps, Larsson’s appearance alongside key players from Brendan Rodgers’ current roster has triggered a flurry of speculation online, with supporters eager to uncover the reason behind the shoot.

McChuills remained closed to the public until 8pm while filming crews occupied the venue throughout the day.

Larsson’s presence alone was enough to stir excitement, but his involvement with three of today’s first-team stars has only heightened curiosity.

For now, fans can only guess what was being filmed at the iconic Boozer—but it’s likely that more information will come to light in the near future.
