A highly-rated Real Madrid coach is catching the eye, while a Rangers forward is attracting serious interest from France.

Davide Ancelotti continues to bolster his growing reputation, with the Real Madrid assistant coach – and reported Rangers managerial target – watching one of his young protégés make a big statement. The 35-year-old, on the radar at Ibrox, witnessed Jacobo Ramon score a dramatic late winner against Mallorca, reinforcing Ancelotti’s faith in the promising talent.

Ancelotti Jr. was visibly thrilled as Madrid sealed a 2-1 victory, with Ramon – a 20-year-old Spain youth international – validating the belief shown in him by the assistant coach. According to top Spanish media outlets, Ancelotti is one of just three key figures at the Bernabéu who have backed Ramon’s rise. David Alaba has worked closely with the youngster, while Antonio Rüdiger has taken on a mentorship role. But it’s Ancelotti who has made his support most vocal, labelling Ramon a future world-class player and giving him a starting role midweek.

As his time at Real Madrid nears its conclusion, Ancelotti is being seriously considered by Rangers’ prospective new leadership, 49ers Enterprises and Andrew Cavenagh, who reportedly have him high on their shortlist to take over at Ibrox.

Strasbourg Eyeing Rangers Striker Hamza Igamane

Meanwhile, Rangers striker Hamza Igamane is attracting major attention from Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg, who are pushing for a European spot and could even qualify for the Champions League.

The French club, part of Chelsea’s BlueCo network and managed by Liam Rosenior, are planning a busy summer transfer window. French journalist Mohammed Toubache-Ter reports that Strasbourg are “very keen” on the 22-year-old Moroccan forward.

Despite a difficult season for Rangers, Igamane has been a standout performer, scoring 16 goals in all competitions. He remains under contract at Ibrox for another four years, but growing interest could make him a sought-after name this summer.
