Legendary Celtic pub unveils bold banner ahead of title celebrations

A well-known Celtic bar in Glasgow has paid tribute to Brendan Rodgers’ side after they secured their fourth consecutive league title.

The Brazen Head, located on the city’s Cathcart Road, revealed a striking eight-word banner outside its premises on Thursday to mark the club’s latest Premiership triumph.

Shared on Facebook, the banner proudly reads: “Congratulations to the most successful team in Scotland.”

The tribute comes as Celtic prepare to be officially crowned champions this weekend, with Rodgers’ men set to receive the Premiership trophy at a sold-out Celtic Park following their final league match against St Mirren.

Mass celebrations are expected to follow across Glasgow, particularly in the Merchant City and Trongate areas, where thousands of fans are likely to gather.

Celtic moved two trophies ahead of Rangers in the all-time honours list after clinching the title at Tannadice last month, taking their total to 119 major trophies.

With the league secured, the Hoops are now targeting an unprecedented ninth domestic Treble when they face Aberdeen in next weekend’s Scottish Cup Final.

Fan groups the Green Brigade and Bhoys Celtic have also organised a march to Hampden from Glasgow Green on cup final day, which will see supporters pass by the Brazen Head en route to Mount Florida.
