Leeds United are poised to complete the signing of Swedish international Victor Lindelöf on a two-year deal, marking a significant move in their summer transfer business.

The 29-year-old defender is expected to join the Whites after reaching an agreement following his departure from Manchester United. Lindelöf, who has made over 250 appearances for the Red Devils and earned more than 60 caps for Sweden, brings top-level experience and leadership to a Leeds side looking to mount a strong push for Premier League promotion.

Sources close to the club suggest the deal is in its final stages, with only medical checks and formalities left before an official announcement is made. Lindelöf is said to be keen on regular first-team football and sees Leeds as the ideal platform to reignite his career.

This signing signals Leeds’ intent under manager Daniel Farke, as the club aims to solidify its backline and add experience to a youthful squad. Lindelöf’s composure, aerial ability, and ball-playing skills are expected to make him a key figure at Elland Road.

If completed, the deal would be one of the standout signings in the Championship this summer and a clear statement of Leeds United’s ambition to return to the top flight at the earliest opportunity.
