Lennon Miller, the Motherwell wonderkid, was accompanied by Celtic representatives to the Scotland U19s’ Tuesday night play against France U19s.
Rangers, Manchester United, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Chelsea saw the young player lead his nation, as did the Hoops.
At The Falkirk Stadium, the Scots managed to secure a thrilling 0-0 draw, but it was insufficient to move on to the next stage of qualifying for the 2025 Under-19 European Championships.
Miller has long been of interest to Celtic. With more than 50 senior appearances under his belt for “Well,” journalist Mark Guidi believes the prospect will “definitely” depart the Steelmen in January.
He believes Miller will join Celtic because, according to earlier rumors, the Fir Park team won’t accept offers for the hotshot that are less than £4 million.
In January, the majority of Hoops supporters would support a move for the 18-year-old.
Supporters would be pleased for the champions to have him on board for the long run, regardless of whether he contracts with Celtic and immediately joins the first team or returns on loan to Motherwell for the remainder of the season. In fact, Miller has always made an impression when he has faced the Bhoys.
He is currently among the Scottish Premiership’s greatest prospects, and Celtic should always want to sign the league’s top young, domestic players.
