Todd Cantwell has made hints that he might rejoin the Rangers in the future.

With some of his most recent social media posts, the offensive midfielder has shockingly hinted to a possible reunion at Ibrox.

Last night, the 26-year-old posted a video of himself working out at Rangers’ training facility on his Instagram account.

“Such a special club, we had some fun,” he wrote alongside it.

“A huge part of my heart is in you. Perhaps another day.

After submitting a transfer request, Philippe Clement sold Cantwell in the summer.

He signed for Blackburn Rovers at a reduced cost, as the Scottish Premiership team replaced him with Nedim Bajrami.

Following a preseason match against Birmingham City, the Belgian stated, “Todd Cantwell came to me in my office a while ago, and we have a really good relationship so we talked for [a long time], to say that he feels ready for another adventure and challenge.”

“I talked to him for a long time because I wanted to give him some time and I think Rangers is a great club for him. I haven’t talked about it in the past few weeks because of this. However, he returned with the same request.

“I am going to be focused on the guys who in their heads are focused on Rangers.”
