There is already a sizable presence of former Rangers supporters at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground.
Ross Wilson, who left Ibrox in 2023 after spending three and a half years in Glasgow, is the club’s chief football officer. Since taking over the recruitment and other operations down south, Wilson has been thriving with the Premier League team.
Following his two decades at Ibrox, Craig Mulholland was also hired by Forest to lead their academy coaching staff.
Mulholland had left Rangers, so Wilson was eager to bring him with him to Forest, and it was the right decision.
Ross Wilson is optimistic that Cameron Campbell will join Nottingham Forest.
Rangers News now learns that another Light Blues reunion is planned at Forest, with an additional former employee getting ready to reunite with Mulholland and Wilson.
After serving as RB Leipzig’s talent development coach for the previous eight months in Germany, we are aware that Cameron Campbell is getting ready to join the Premier League.
It is thought that he will accept a comparable position at the Nigel Doughty Academy as a young coach. In August of last year, Campbell was elevated to the position of PDP Talent Development Coach after serving as the team’s head Under-18 coach for three and a half years.
Campbell will be leaving RB Leipzig as a young employee.
A UEFA Champions League Technical Report also made use of some of his findings while he was at Rangers. He had previously been employed at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and Aberdeen.
It happened a few months after Forest attempted to expand their young academy by hiring additional coaches, some of whom were former players.
In an effort to bolster their team of teenagers, Wes Morgan and Lewis Grabban have joined academy staff members Andy Reid and Julian Bennett.
