Celtic’s success is being attributed to their patience.
Last summer, Brendan Rodgers rejoined Celtic, but the club didn’t deliver the desired results, and there were some questions.
However, Celtic won the double in the end, the boxes were checked, and we fast-forward to the present, where almost everything is going according to plan.
Those 12 months appear to have been necessary for Rodgers to re-establish himself, get to know his players, mould them into his style of thinking, and give each player the time they need to advance.
All things considered, Celtic is dominating; they have only lost once this season, and it was on the terrible night in Dortmund.
One man who was formerly questioned has not only silenced his detractors but is currently perhaps Scotland’s top player.
Michael Stewart was informed by John McGinn that Celtics player Nicolas Kuhn “doesn’t appreciate.”
John McGinn, the captain of Aston Villa, was invited by the Scottish Football Social Club to talk about a variety of topics, including the events at Parkhead.
Presenter Darrell Currie and former right-back Alan Hutton were making fun of Michael Stewart for his previous reservations about the German player after Nicolas Kuhn scored another goal for Celtic over the weekend.
Stewart made quick to rectify Hutton’s statement that his fellow commentator “doesn’t really appreciate what Kuhn gives to the team.”
“Kuhn’s strike to defeat Craig Gordon is fair,” Stewart remarked. Presenter Darrell Currie said, “Kuhn, your favourite player.” Michael, he keeps doing it. He has done well since you had doubts about him.
“Yeah, yeah,” Stewart said. It was early in the season. Alan Hutton then added, “Just so you know, John (McGinn).” Michael is not particularly appreciative of Kuhn’s contributions to the club. He believes he ought to do more. I’m merely giving him more details.
“You are speaking in the incorrect tense there,” Stewart continued. The tense was past tense. Not up to date.
Kuhn’s Celtic stats
It is already commonly known that Kuhn was not eating healthily when he initially came in January due to off-field tooth problems.
Although it isn’t precisely beneficial, everyone is witnessing the benefits now that he has settled in and is feeling strong as ever.
According to Transfermarkt, he has already contributed 22 goals before Christmas, including a brace in Celtic’s most recent Champions League victory over RB Leipzig.
