Honduran FA president Jorge Salomon has urged fringe player Luis Palma to leave Celtic to secure more game time. The 24-year-old winger is finding it difficult to establish himself in his second season at Celtic Park, primarily being used as a substitute under Brendan Rodgers. Palma’s last appearance for the Scottish Premiership leaders was in late October during their victory over Dundee, fueling growing speculation about his future. Salomon has now called on the Honduran international to reassess his career options.
Speaking to Diario La Prensa, he said: “We hope players like Palma can find the opportunity to gain more consistent playing time, whether at Celtic or another club. He is a respectful, dedicated individual who cares deeply about the national team, maintains his personal discipline, and is fully committed to his career.”
