Prior to the agonizingly demanding schedule of this season, Rangers manager Philippe Clement believed he had seen it all in football.

This season, European elite football players will play more games than ever before, raising concerns about player fatigue and injury.

However, there won’t be any such “excuses” inside Ibrox for Philippe Clement, who hasn’t had any injury issues to deal with at Rangers.

It comes with the Belgian’s insistence that, despite his disagreements, he will be gritting his teeth and carrying out the season’s timetable, which is a first for football.

Before the St. Mirren match, Clement stated, “We need to have a squad that is physically and mentally ready for that because this is the first time in football history that this has happened.”

“You have more excuses the more you whine about it, and I don’t want to make excuses for the team because they all want to play football and win.

“It’s similar to wanting to run 20 miles but running a marathon.” It was decided that those are the rules.

Does it work well for football? Everyone agrees that I don’t believe so, but we must prepare ourselves and put ourselves first.

Rangers want to take a break. Cerny, Vaclav

“Up until now, it has also been a busy time,” Clement remarked. “Everyone is talking right now, which may be because people believe that the holidays have arrived, but consider the time that we had in October, November, and December.

“There is no doubt that we will have to manage it. In this sense, I’m glad Ross McCausland is recovering; he had a protracted foot injury and is now doing better. And I’m hoping that he can mature now so that he can let Cerny go quickly.

With Danilo, Hagi, and Dessers returning, we have additional choices, so our options are greater than they were at the start of the season. With all of the upcoming games, it will be essential to be able to make rotations because Yilmaz can also play as a left winger.
