Daniel Farke has been speaking to the media just 24 hours after Leeds United’s victory against Sheffield Wednesday, ahead of Wednesday’s matchup with Norwich City, indicating that the turnaround is swift.

After playing The Canaries four times last season, Daniel Farke’s Norwich return to Elland Road marks his sixth meeting with his former team. Twice in the playoffs and twice during the regular Championship season.

Following their 3-0 victory on Sunday, Leeds is comfortably atop the Championship, and Chris Waddle believes they will place in the top two. Nevertheless, there are still 19 games to play in order to advance.

Farke will already be missing Patrick Bamford and Pascal Struijk when Norwich takes on him next. Struijk is sidelined until February, while Bamford is scheduled to return at the end of the month. Two additional players may now join them.

If Brenden Aaronson is fit to play against Norwich, Daniel Farke says

After Sheffield Wednesday’s game, Farke acknowledged that Aaronson had sustained an ankle injury. He did, however, play until the 90th minute, at which point Josuha Guilavogui took the place of the USA star.

Farke provided an additional update in his remarks on Monday. The £25 million player’s ankle is not too serious, he claimed, but it will be a last-minute decision as to whether Aaronson can make the squad for Wednesday’s match against Norwich at Elland Road.

“Today, it appeared to be OK. He was struck in the ankle. With him, it will be a late call. Nothing significant has been confirmed thus far, but it will be decided later if he is accessible or not. Though cautiously hopeful, a late decision will still be made.

With Manor Solomon’s hamstring, Daniel Farke is less certain.

Solomon played much of Sunday’s victory, just like Aaronson did. The Israel star has been complaining about his hamstring on Monday ever since he scored Leeds’ first goal and was substituted out at 83 minutes.

Solomon is doubtful to play against Norwich on Wednesday night, a team that was defeated on Saturday by Sheffield United, Leeds’ promotion rivals, Farke reiterated. Solomon is a 50/50 option, according to Farke.

He was undoubtedly complaining of hamstring issues at the conclusion of the game. I need to give him a closer look because I’m not sure if he’s available. We will find out on Wednesday morning, but he is 50/50.

Even if Aaronson is just 80% healthy, Farke is likely to start the USA star because Leeds don’t have a backup to take his place. Largie Ramazani’s performance may allow him to rest Solomon, despite the fact that he has started the last 25 league games.
