Ianis Hagi confirmed his departure from Rangers and then messaged Alex Lowry on social media.
On Tuesday, January 21, the 21-year-old boyhood Light Blues supporter officially left Ibrox and signed a permanent contract with Wycombe Wanderers.
Hagi, who has been connected to a transfer away himself, responded to the midfielder’s heartfelt farewell letter to the Gers on Instagram.

Having said that, it’s intriguing to watch Philippe Clement’s team split ways with another midfield player during the winter transfer window before Hagi’s possible exit.
Whatever the rumours about the former Genk player, Lowry has officially left Ibrox and was visibly moved when thinking back on his G51 tenure.
Although the youthful player hadn’t played for the Govan club’s first squad since the 2022–2023 campaign, it’s obvious that he made an impact on his teammates.
Even if a transfer to Wycombe Wanderers is extremely doubtful, it will be intriguing to see if the Romanian follows the Scot out the door.
