On Premier Sports Cup duties, Celtic destroyed the league team next to them.

After his team defeated Aberdeen 6-0 to get to the Premier Sports Cup semi-final, Brendan Rodgers responded to rumours that some of his previous team selections had been leaked.

The Premiership winners chose to toss the Dons around like a rag doll after a slow start to the match. Daizen Maeda, who scored a hat-trick and set up Kyogo for the day, was the primary planner of Aberdeen’s disastrous period in Mount Florida.

Before the Maeda show took main stage, Cameron Carter-Vickers nodded in an Arne Engels header in the Celtic opening, but they weren’t finished yet. Before this one was over, Kuhn scored and Maeda was able to claim his hat-trick. Rangers or Motherwell will now face off in the final next month. Aberdeen was destroyed here, despite matching Celtic’s 28 points in the league thus far.

Following the online leak of his squad for the midweek victory over Dundee and the pre-match appearance of the team that ultimately played against Aberdeen, Rodgers took aim in his post-match remarks. The starting lineup he ultimately selected in the middle of the week, which helped them win the Premiership match 2-0, was the subject of discussion on forums and social media. “They are not true supporters if the lineup was created by Celtic supporters,” he remarked.

When questioned if he knew about the leaks, the boss responded, “It’s obviously disappointing.” We have seen this before, and it is not great. The truth about the modern game is that there are no true secrets, but when it is revealed, it is not pleasant.

particularly if it is expressed by Celtic fans. As a manager, I can tell you that I have experienced that with other teams, even if it may feel fantastic for someone’s ego to transfer it on others. I have developed a strategy to play against a team, therefore knowing about it has greatly aided my preparation. I was then informed that the team would be playing a completely different formation the day before a game.

“After we have a message, I can schedule another meeting at the hotel to explain that this is what we believe the team will do. The team is playing that shape when we arrive the following day. We were able to win the game thanks to it. The person releasing it, if it’s

You’re not a Celtic fan, someone from Celtic. You’re not doing Celtic any favours. We will make every effort to find out if you are not a Celtics fan. I personally don’t get upset over it.

In the game, Rodgers was also booked under amusing circumstances. In the first half, he booted the ball and knocked it onto the Hampden field, earning him a yellow card from referee Kevin Clancy.

Rodgers laughed at the time, saying, “I shouldn’t be falling over there! We’ll probably appeal the yellow card! I’m just kidding. I recovered quite rapidly. Kevin made a wise decision.

“An outstanding team performance,” Rodgers told the BBC after the game. You face a team that has been incredibly talented. We were aware that it would be difficult. We needed to give it our all. And the guys, especially in the second half, did that.In the game, Rodgers was also booked under amusing circumstances. “We were brutal. We made good runs and did a great job working the ball to generate the space. Many wonderful moments. This pitch at Hampden is stunning. For the football game we want to play, it’s ideal.”
