Rangers Target New Forward to Strengthen Attack Ahead of Transfer Window

Rangers are already scouting potential additions to their attacking lineup as they prepare for the upcoming transfer window.

Despite having Cyriel Dessers, Hamza Igamane, Danilo, Ianis Hagi, and Vaclav Cerny in their squad, the Light Blues are eager to further reinforce their forward options in the coming months.

With uncertainty surrounding Dessers’ future at Ibrox during the winter window, it’s logical for the club to be considering new signings. Additionally, Vaclav Cerny is only on loan until the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether Rangers will pursue a permanent move for him.

Danilo’s persistent fitness struggles throughout the campaign left Philippe Clement short on attacking depth, highlighting the need for reinforcements up front.

Rangers Eye Move for Gaoussou Diarra

According to AfricaFoot (March 7), Rangers are interested in Istanbulspor forward Gaoussou Diarra following his impressive performances in Turkey’s second division.

The 22-year-old Malian striker is reportedly on the Gers’ radar, but they face competition from clubs in the Turkish Super Lig and France’s Ligue 1.

Diarra is enjoying a breakthrough season in Istanbul, but it remains uncertain whether Rangers will be able to secure his signature.

Ibrox Faces Uncertain Summer Following Clement’s Departure

The dismissal of Philippe Clement has left Rangers with many uncertainties heading into the summer transfer window.

With Barry Ferguson taking over as interim manager, the club faces a crucial decision regarding their next permanent boss. Furthermore, Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe are reportedly in discussions to assume control of the club, adding another layer of uncertainty to Rangers’ future.

After a disappointing Scottish Premiership campaign, the Light Blues must act decisively to close the gap on Celtic, who currently sit 16 points ahead in the league standings. Their Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Queen’s Park has only added to their struggles.

Several departures could be on the horizon, with inconsistent performances plaguing much of the squad. Hagi’s contract expires at the end of the season, while Igamane has attracted interest from English clubs.

With a forward overhaul likely, Rangers will need reinforcements, and Diarra could be among several new faces arriving at Ibrox this summer.
