The Brighton loanee has been one of the season’s highlights at the King Power Stadium, and the Leicester City boss was questioned about the possibility of acquiring him in the future.

Even if a deal doesn’t happen, Steve Cooper will treat Facundo Buonanotte like he’s a permanent member of Leicester City.

According to the manager, the Brighton loanee has given City his whole attention and isn’t showcasing his skills just to further his own career. Additionally, he is doing it for the team.

Since Buonanotte is still only 19 years old and has a lot of room to grow, many City fans will be hoping that he stays with the team until his loan deal expires next summer. He has been one of City’s greatest players so far this season. When questioned about the Argentinean’s potential future transfer, Cooper seemed to suggest that it would just take a year.

At first, Brighton said they weren’t sending Buonanotte out with the intention of making a sale, but to get experience. They continue to closely monitor his rehabilitation, and it has been reported that their loans manager Gordon Greer paid a visit to City’s training facility this week to see how he was doing.

When asked if a transfer for the attacking midfield player was possible, Cooper responded at his news conference, “That’s not for me to get involved in too much.” We treat him as though he were our own while he is here. We provide him everything. We have an excellent communication relationship with Brighton, which is crucial. Let’s make the most of his stay here.

“We’ve been rather pleased. His game’s highlights have been aired numerous times. The skills are readily apparent. Above all, he is a truly decent young man. He has truly made himself at home here. He’s very grounded and has accepted the dressing room and our expectations for his play while allowing him some leeway.

He has a strong work ethic and, in his own way, is aggressive in his desire to succeed. That enhances his football personality and skills. Working with him is enjoyable, and we truly like challenging him and attempting to bring out the best in him.

And it’s encouraging to see him carrying it out in a way that benefits the group and the club. Every Premier League team has players with skill and ability to contribute at the top of the pitch, but it’s incredibly satisfying when they’re playing for the team and aligning with our goals. We’re really enjoying him as a football player, but since we’ve only played ten games, we must make sure we put in a lot of effort to help him advance.

When he is scheduled to start against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon, Buonanotte hopes to add to his five goal contributions while wearing a City shirt. However, he is only one yellow card away from a suspension, so he will need to behave himself at Old Trafford.
