Celtic Eye Rising Star Amid Premiership Title Celebrations

Fresh off their Scottish Premiership triumph, Celtic appear to be setting their sights on a promising young talent who has openly expressed a desire to don the green and white of Parkhead, according to recent reports.

Rodgers Readies for Another Active Transfer Window

With a derby showdown against Rangers looming, Brendan Rodgers will be eager to make a statement following his side’s fourth consecutive league title win over Dundee United. The Celtic boss also has his sights set on a historic third domestic treble, with Aberdeen standing in the way in next month’s Scottish Cup final.

Planning for the summer transfer window is already underway, with a squad revamp on the cards. Emerging Hearts star James Wilson has reportedly caught Celtic’s attention, while Kieran Tierney is expected to return to the club on a free transfer once his deal with Arsenal concludes. AC Ajaccio striker Moussa Soumano is also being considered to strengthen the attacking line.

With Champions League group-stage participation not guaranteed next season, Rodgers and his recruitment team are expected to pursue a calculated and effective strategy to ensure readiness for a quick turnaround ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Long-term signings will also be a focus as the club looks to build for the future.

Teen Prospect Dylan Leonard Dreams of Celtic Move

Among the potential future additions is 17-year-old Dylan Leonard, who has publicly declared his ambition to play for Celtic. In an interview with A Leagues, the Western United defender described joining the Scottish champions as his “ultimate dream.”

“Playing for Celtic is something I’ve always wanted to achieve in football,” Leonard said. “Winning something with them would be amazing, but just playing for that club is my biggest goal.”

Leonard has impressed this season in Australia’s top division, tallying one goal and one assist across 24 appearances. A central defender by trade, he has also won 100 duels and completed 28 tackles—numbers that hint at a bright future.

While it remains to be seen whether Celtic will make a formal approach, the Carlton-born youngster certainly fits the club’s profile of nurturing high-potential talent for the long term.
